Full Terms and Conditions

  1. These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry and claim instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions and by participating, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.
  2. Promoter: Tennent’s Caledonian Breweries UK Limited, Wellpark Brewery, 161 Duke Street, Glasgow, G31 1JD
  3. Eligibility: This promotion is open to GB (excluding NI) residents aged 18 and over only, excluding the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, and excluding employees and the immediate families of the Promoter, its subsidiaries, other group companies, its agents, suppliers, or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.
  4. Promotion Period: The promotion will run 00:00 on 01/05/2024 to 23:59 on 17/07/2024. Entries outside of this period will not be accepted.
  5. To enter: Purchase a promotional pack of Tennent’s, scan QR on promo pack/visit online at https://www.tennents.co.uk/competition/onpack2024, enter required details, and answer the randomly set question (If an entrant answers the questions incorrectly, a second question will show to try again. If on the second try the question is still answered incorrectly, entrants will be entered into the main draw but will not qualify for an instant win). Maximum one entry per person per week.
  6. Internet access required. Participants are responsible for their own costs associated with accessing the internet. These costs may vary so please check with your service provider for current charges. Participants should seek the permission of the person paying the bill before entering.
  7. Entries (bulk or otherwise) made from trade, consumer groups, syndicates or third parties will not be accepted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is reposting the same content multiple times or using a computer(s) to circumvent this or any other condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’ or any other automated means, that person’s entries will be disqualified, and any prize award will be void.
  8. Incomplete, illegible, invalid or misdirected entries will not be accepted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.
  9. Prizes: There are a total of 4,001 prizes available as part of this promotion as follows:
    • 1 x tier 1 prize – Hospitality at Hampden for 2, access to Scotland training session, plus tour of Hampden for 2, Scotland Men’s Home season Ticket for 2 (games between Sept 2024-Sept 2025), Merch goodie bag. Prize does not include any travel or insurance required to exercise prize; and
    • 4,000 x tier 2 prizes – limited edition Tennent’s glass.
  1. Winner Selection, Notification and Prize Redemption:
    • Tier 1 – All entrants will be entered into the draw for the Tier 1 prize, to be held 18/07/24. Winner will be notified via email by Promoter’s agent on or around 18/07/24. The winner will have 7 days to respond to email confirmation, otherwise the Promoter reserves the right to carry out another draw and select another winner. It is the responsibility of entrants to monitor their email (including spam/junk folders) account during this time in case they are a winner.
    • Tier 2 – Entrants who answer question correctly will find out instantly if they have won a Tier 2 prize via randomly allocated winning moment (more details below).  Winners will then be asked for a full postal address and a telephone number in order to redeem prize. Failure to provide this information when prompted will result in entitlement to prize lapsing. Promoter will then issue prizes weekly in arrears to those winners confirmed by the Promoter’s administering agency. Promoter will endeavour to fulfil tier 2 prizes within 28 days, but this might be delayed by situations outwith Promoter’s control.
  1. No guarantee all prizes will be won during the Promotion Period. Any remaining prizes not won or any prizes that remain unclaimed following the close of the promotional period will be re-allocated to a wrap up draw.
  2. Terms applicable to the Tier 1 prize:
    • Travel and insurance required to exercise the prize not included in the scope of the prize
    • Individual elements of the prize are subject to availability and need to be agreed in advance with SFA
    • Winner and guest must both be 18+
    • Names of winner and guest need to be provided to the SFA in advance of exercising prize rights for checks to be completed. Entrance to SFA premises is always subject to ultimate SFA approval
    • Tier 1 prize is subject to SFA terms and conditions, which are available to the winner on request from the SFA
  1. Terms applicable to the Tier 2 prize:
    • Maximum 4 tier 2 prizes per residential address across the Promotional Period
    • If winners don’t receive tier 2 prizes in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, they must inform the Promoter or the Promoter’s agency in a reasonable timeframe. The Promoter will use reasonable endeavours to fulfil all prizes, but in the event that prizes remain undelivered by 31st August 2024 and the winner hasn’t notified the Promoter by that time, then the Promoter shall no longer be required to issue the prize.
  1. Tier 2 winning moments mechanism: Once the question has been answered and if the answer is correct the algorithm will search for an open winning moment time stamp. If a time stamp is open the algorithm will then allocate a prize. 4,000 winning moments will be randomly allocated across the promotional period selected by a secure, independently verified computer programme. If no entry is received between one winning moment and the next, the prize from that winning moment will be rolled over into the next winning moment and be available to be won then.

 

General

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for proof of address and photo ID (passport, driving licence or equivalent) which the entrant must provide within 10 working days. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the spirit of the promotion, any instructions forming part of this promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating or won using fraudulent means.
  1. The Promoter will make available the Tier 1 prize winner’s surname and county of residence to members of the public or regulators who request such details within 3 months of the closing date of this promotion. Entrants can object to disclosure, or request that disclosure be limited in scope by contacting Winner@multiplyagency.com. We may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so. You may request a copy of the winners’ details by emailing Winner@multiplyagency.com.
  1. Prizes cannot be sold or transferred. Winning prizes cannot be combined with other discounts, cashback activities or promotions. The prizes are not refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods and services, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its reasonable control the Promoter reserves the right to substitute similar alternatives of equal or greater value.
  1. In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Promoter is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  1. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
  1. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
  1. The Promoter has no control over internet or communication networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter will not be held liable to any individual for any fraud committed by any third party nor for any event beyond its control including, but not limited to, user error and any network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind which may restrict, delay or prevent a participant’s entry to the promotion.
  1. If any of these conditions should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining conditions shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
  1. A winner may be requested to participate in publicity arising from the promotion, though for regulatory reasons if a winner is or looks under 25, such request may be revoked. Publicity may include, but not be limited to the winner’s name and the store they purchased the winning pack.
  1. This promotion is administered by Multiply UK, 1-2 Sciennes Gardens, Edinburgh, EH9 1NR, Scotland on behalf of the Promoter.
  1. The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the promotion and for no other purpose, unless we have your consent. You acknowledge that the Promoter may pass such information to its third-party agency, solely for the purposes of administering the promotion. Your personal details will at all times be kept confidential and in accordance with current Data Protection legislation. The Promoter’s Privacy Policy can be found at: https://www.tennents.co.uk/privacy-policy. You can request access to your personal data, or have any inaccuracies rectified, by sending an email to GDPR@candcgroup.com. All data provided by winners in the promotional period will be destroyed 3 months after the close of the main promotion. By participating in the promotion, you agree to the use of your personal data as described in this condition.
  1. Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the rules will be based on Scottish law and the Courts of Scotland will have exclusive jurisdiction unless you live in England or Wales, in which case your local courts will have jurisdiction.
